St. Johann and Alpendorf are known all over the world. It is the entrance to the largest ski area in Austria - the sports world Ski Amade. Most modern cable railways and chairlifts open up the largest ski-area (1 ski-pass for more than 270 lifts and 860 km tracks). Snow can be guaranteed, because of the high performing snow cannons. On 16oo m sea level Biathlonics enjoy a fabulous placed cross-country trails (150 km trails). 3 perfect organized ski and snowboard schools, ski-kindergarten, ski-rental (ski-instructor comes in the house). |

For families with smaller kids and for beginners is the Hahnbaum, our local mountain, perfect. By request with an instructor. Take a sledge and slide down the lighted sledge-trail, or take a romantic ride on a horse pulled carriage. All this activities without a car! The gratis ski-bus to the Sports world Amade leaves ca. 15 m from our house away. Also party people get entertained in St. Johann. |
